I was an extended-wear user for over twenty years, including sleeping in my lenses (and also regularly exceeding the recommended life of the lenses). As a result, I was getting an allergic reaction in my eye that made it feel as if I always had something in my eye.

My doctor recommended a daily wear, and after trying a couple of other lenses, we settled on these. Within a week, I no longer had the allergic reaction--so needless to say, I am very pleased on that front.

Besides that, the lenses are very comfortable. I don't even notice they are in most of the time, and I will wear them at least 18 hours a day (current record is 35 hours with no sleep). Also significant is that I do not give my eyes a break with a glasses-only day--and I wear them every day from when I wake up to when I go to bed.

Regarding the "con" above of blurred vision, I have figured that one out. As another reviewer has noted, due to the packaging, sometimes a lens will be "warped" when you open the container--and the warped lens will give you blurry vision in that eye. Solution--when I get one like that, I just turn the lens over in the container so that the lens is sitting correctly, lay the foil back down to keep dust from collecting in the solution, and put it in back in my medicine cabinet. And voila! The next day the lens has gone back to its correct shape. Problem solved.

Last comment--I use the Systane Ultra drops, which makes these even more comfortable to wear all day. I put one drop in the lens before inserting, and that lasts all day for me.
