I had trouble keeping my contacts clean and free from irritating my eyes. My doctor said my eyes just produce more protein build up than others. It was hard for me to keep my previous contacts from feeling irritated all the time, even though I kept them clean and rotated them on the recommended schedule (mine were the 2 month and dispose type). He suggested these dailies and they have worked well for me. My eyes still get irritated once in a while, but I also have allergies and I tend to wear my contacts for 16 hours a day. I would recommend trying the dailies for anyone that has issues keeping their contacts clean. The downside is they are crazy expensive. For me however, I couldn't seem to find another alternative. I try to give my eyes a break from any contact wear on the weekends if I'm not playing sports or doing something where glasses are not practical.

I've worn Acuvue Trueye for years and been very happy. The last batch I ordered from my doctor's office, however, seemed to get blurry really easily -- makeup was constantly sticking to it -- and I had to try to frequently clean them during the day to make them wearable. But I was going through multiple pairs a day sometimes! I thought I was going crazy until I went to reorder from this website and saw Acuvue had changed the material on these contacts (from Nara B to Nara A). Nara A is far inferior to B, in my opinion. Now I have to go back to the optomistrist and find a new brand of contacts!

Comments about 1-Day Acuvue TruEye NAR A Contact Lens, 90 ea:

These lenses are much thicker and heavier than most daily disposables, which makes them less prone to tearing. Unlike other soft lenses, which can fly out of your eye from the slightest disturbance, these stay in place - in fact, they're a bit hard to get out of your eye, as their thickness doesn't allow them to curl up in your eye. My biggest complaint is the quality control - about one in 30 lenses is warped when I take it out of the package. I suspect it might be the position the lens is stored in the packaging. The specs say they are better for your eye - better oxygen/moisture/etc, but I feel like they're a bit rougher on my eyes - but I'm sticking with them because the security of not losing my contact lenses if I get splashed

Comments about 1-Day Acuvue TruEye NAR A Contact Lens, 90 ea:

My 12 year old daughter has been wearing Acuvue NAR B dailies for almost 4 years. she is a +6 in one eye +5 in the other. Her prescription was discontinued in the NAR B. After one week of wearing the NAR A she commented (unprompted) that she liked these better and felt like they did not dry out during the day.

Ever since they changed to Narafilcon A they are dry and blurry all the time from just walking down the hall..

Terrible lens now that they changed formulations..

I agree with everyone else about these contacts being horrible now that they've changed the material. I've been wearing these for years and now I can't wear a pair for more than three hours...at the most. My eyes are dry to begin with, that's why my doctor prescribed these. I don't even wear contacts very often now because I feel like it's a total waste to throw a pair away after a few hours. I'm asking my doctor for a different brand at my next visit. Save your money and stay away from these.

I loved the TruEye Nar B product, I have very sensitive eyes & those were very comfortable to wear. I recommended that product to others.
The new product TruEye Nar A IS NOT as comfortable, the first few days that I wore them it felt like there was something in my eyes besides the lenses. I don't know if I will buy then again.
I like the TruEye Nar B product WAY better, can you please bring it back!!!!

I switched from Acuvue Oaysis one-day lenses because they were discontinued. I really liked them! My optometrist switched me to these and I was weary to order them because of the poor reviews... I thought I would give it a shot because I'm not a very picky person. These things are awful. I'm 23 years old and have been wearing lenses for 7 years and find these to be the worst I've tried. If they were half the price, maybe they'd be worth it. They constantly feel the same way contacts do when you sleep in them...like there's glue on your eye. Just this morning I had to switch one after an hour of wear because it hurt! My eyes are constantly bloodshot with these to the point that people have noticed it. Too add insult to injury, they are hard to get out of the package for some unphantomable reason. I never send ANYTHING back but I'm hoping they'll take a return on these

So I'm not sure why these contacts are being sold or why the ingredients change, but the Nar-A is awful for a full day wear. They're more like a 5 hour wear, which is a waste for the hefty price tag. They get super dry and irritating as the day goes by. I won't buy them again or recommend them.
