I've been a wearer of another brand of contacts for 20 years. At my last eye exam, the doctor recommended that I try Biofinity because I have a habit of sleeping in my lenses. I was resistant, but decided to give them a try and I was very impressed. First of all, putting these lenses in was effortless. They didn't curl up or slide out when I blinked - just touched them to my eye and they were in. They are very comfortable and I only experience minimal dryness. I wear these all week and clean them on the weekends, and I feel safer knowing they are approved for sleeping and good for up to a month (as long as you clean them 1x per week). Overall, I am very happy with these lenses and decided to make the permanent switch from my normal brand.

I've been wearing Frequency Aspheric 55 for the last 10 years. My doc recommended that I tried Biofinity as they were superior in terms of keeping up with modern technology. I've tried Biofinity and I must say I am very dissatisfied and will be re-ordering a new batch of Frequency lenses. Reason being - blurred vision. It's just blurred, focus seems to be playing back and forth and it never settles, even after 16 hour wear. I've tried another pair on another day, with the same effect. On the positive side I would like to point out, Biofinity lenses are very comfortable when it comes to eye comfort. I have not felt any discomfort with my eyes by the end of day, as I used to have from time to time with Frequency lenses. However, this strong side is nullified by my inability to find stable focus and I ended up with headache on both days when I've tried Biofinity. Quite possible this is just my individual incompatibility issue and other people may feel fine. Long story short, I'm definitely back to Frequency Aspheric 55.
Comments about Biofinity Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box:
Good product, however, the solution the contacts come may be a problem. I think it irritates one of my eyes (which is more sensitive than the other.) My inner eyelid itches for the first several days of wearing a new lens. After 4 or 5 days of wear, my eye feels fine. I suspect it takes that long for the solution to be cleansed out of the lens. Preservatives, maybe? I eliminated them from my cleaning products long ago for similar reasons.
