One contact is noted N and one is noted D. The D contact has a larger single vision opening. In effect this give a slight monovision that helps with all ranges and reduces the negatives of multifocal contacts. Add to this comfort and durability. No contact is perfect for aging eyes, but these are the best I've worn. After that, it feels like there is a grain of sand under the lens. I've tried swapping lenses between eyes, and the discomfort follows the lens, so I can only conclude I got a bad batch. Comments about Biofinity Multifocal Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box: These contacts are the first pair I've had that actually allow me to see at any distance-- reading, on the computer, driving... They're great. But, I was told that they should last one month. About the end of the third week of use (approximately 20 8-10 hour days...), they become very uncomfortable and I have to break out new ones. I would have given 5 stars if they lasted the entire month. Pros

Comments about Biofinity Multifocal Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box: I have tried different brands of multifocal lenses and found these to be very comfortable for my dry eyes, even making them whiter and healthier feeling. My one draw back as a graphic designer who needs crisp closeup vision is that both my near and far vision suffered somewhat, my guess is to allow the full range correction. I have even taken one out at times to be able to read mouse print. If you don't need the sharpness, then everything else is great! Pros

Comments about Biofinity Multifocal Contact Lens, 6 lenses per box: My previous contacts (Proclear Multifocal) had begun to irritate my eyes, my doctor recommended that I switch to theses lenses. I forgot to take these contacts out one night and when I woke up my eyes weren't sticky as they had been with my previous contacts. I was able to remove them easily for cleaning and put them back in for another comfortable day. I can wear them at the computer all day and they don't dry out or irritate my eyes. This was a good switch. Pros
