I used to wear Acuvue Moist and I have tried the True Eye as well but didn't see any difference between the two. When I tried these I was amazed by the improvement. They are so comfortable that I can no longer stand wearing my Acuvue. Hopefully the price comes down in the future, but these are worth the extra cost for me. I can wear them all day without even noticing that they are in.

I've been wearing contact lenses for Over 17 years. I've been using Acuvue Oasys Dailies for the past 10 years. However, I've noticed that my eyes still felt dry at the end of the day. I've heard Total 1 was going to stay moist, longer. I've found Total 1 to be only slightly better than Acuvue but the really frightening part was that these contacts lenses are very, very slippery and difficult to remove. I've never had so much trouble trying to remove a a pair of contact lenses out of my eyes. The whole process took at least 5-10 minutes. I would definitely recommend using the trials for at least a week before committing to buying the packs.

Comments about Dailies Total 1 90 Contact Lens, 90 ea:

I am generally happy with the fit and comfort of these lenses. My one complaint is the packaging. Some of the individual packages can be difficult to open and, if you have arthritis, I think it would be impossible.

Comments about Dailies Total 1 90 Contact Lens, 90 ea:

Great lenses for daily comfort. I've worn contacts for 35 years and these are the most comfortable daily lenses I've used. They offer comfort and clear vision. I can wear these from 6am until 11pm comfortably.
Linmitations: 1) I cannot ever nap in these or they do fuse to my eyeballs. 2) My fingers must be exceptionally dry to remove these lenses to create sufficient friction to grasp the lens. 3) They are pricier than other Focus Dailies.

Comments about Dailies Total 1 90 Contact Lens, 90 ea:

I absolutely love these contacts. I tried samples of the Acuvue daily moist and contacts and they were good. But, if you can spend the extra money to get these Dailies, I highly recommend doing so. They are well worth the money. I am very sensitive to things in my eyes, and I always completely forget that I even have these in. They are so light and comfortable. The only suggest I have is that if you wear them all day, they can be be a little tricky to get out because they essentially conform to your eye. But, I asked my optometrist, and he showed me how to get them out easily. Just pull down on the contact towards the bottom if it (just under the pupil), and slide it down towards your bottom eyelid. Then typically mine will either flip onto my finger, or bubble just enough that I can grab it with my fingertips. Outside of that, these are perfect! And honestly, just that minor issue doesn't bother me because these contacts are sooooo comfortable.

I was told these help with astigmatism correction without needing Toric, but didn't work too well. My daughter has minor astigmatism, and works OK for her. These are way to expensive for this performance.

No better to wear and WAY worse to remove

Comments about Dailies Total 1 90 Contact Lens, 90 ea:

My eye doctor said these were the most comfortable (the rep had given her a sample to try, but she only had it on a few hrs), so I decided to treat myself. I've worn contact lenses since I was 9 and daily disposables since I was about 20 (I'm 41). Lenses seemed about the same as other daily disposable brands diringvtge day, but if I remove them after about 10pm, they are very, very difficult to remove. They basically fuse to my eye, and it's many tries to unglue the lens from my eyeball. In 20 years of daily disposable wear it has never taken more than one try to remove a lens until these. When they stick to my eye, it takes many tries to get them off, and it hurts my eyeball a lot. This says a lot, because my eyes are not sensitive at all.

Comments about Dailies Total 1 90 Contact Lens, 90 ea:

I tried a sample of these in trying to decide which daily disposable contacts to ultimately buy. The CIBA Dailies Total just weren't comfortable for me. Within minutes they felt like they were hard edged, like my eye had hard plastic scraping every time I blinked. They felt dry within a few hours. Sometimes they'd feel fine, but I think every hour I felt some form of discomfort that made me too aware of their presence in my eye. For being the more expensive kind, I did expect better!

Comments about Dailies Total 1 90 Contact Lens, 90 ea:

I've tried 3-4 different disposable contact lenses, and this new offering is amazing. I have extremely dry eyes, but ironically, it has low water content, meaning it is not dependent on my natural tears to stay moist and comfortable. I can wear these over 12 hours/day, vs. other disposables just a few hours. It doesn't even feel like I am wearing contacts.

The 2 cons are price (it is more expensive than other disposables) and it's hard to tell if it is inside out (no clear difference.) But the level of comfort is to high, it trumps every other consideration.

These are seriously the best contacts I've ever had. I had Acuvue TruEye and I couldn't wear them for more than an hour or two before irritation, dryness, and/or protein buildup forced me to take them out. I basically gave up on contacts for a year. My doctor recommended the Dailies Total 1 and gave a trial pair. I immediately ordered the 90 pack. They are so comfortable and stay moist all day with no protein build up or irritation. These were all the issues I was having with the TruEye contacts. Highly recommend these. I almost forget to take them out at night because I forget I have them in!
