My vision is mostly deficient in astigmatism with some slight nearsightedness. The most limiting quality for me is that I do want color contacts and with my natural color being a dark(ish) brown, I have to stick to contacts that are specifically made with opaque standards.

I got my first pair of contacts when I was 16, and was very pleased/happy with the color change in the opaque vial brand I got then (now, I'd cringe at the neon and unnatural sapphire blue but at that time it was the best thing in the world for me lol). Color disposables were just starting to emerge, and when I tried them, they were hideous, looking sort of like a gob of spit floating on top of your eyes, and I reordered the vial brand I'd been getting for the next few years.

Then when FL Colorblends came along, I was silly enough to be excited over the advertising even though I knew that the photos they have are doctored so heavily that they can almost be accused of false advertising. Still, they seemed to finally have the simple concept of the iris coloration variations to make me continuously retry the brand every time I get a new exam.

My latest trial was yesterday. I tried the green pair, after finding out that the best contact I'd ever had (Cooper Vision Natural Touch) was discontinued and even my original Durasoft 3 Opaques were not being made anymore. I was so bummed about the Natural Touch discontinuation and really hoped that FL may surprise me with an effective color change. Unfortunately, despite attempting to follow the doctor's advice to wear the demo pair out of the office to really give them a chance in all light types, I was just as disappointed as ever.

Because of the strange fact that all manufacturers here in the states have pushed these as their favorite colored product, it's nearly the only one that any eye doctor I have seen has ever heard of. I personally have never found a disposable contact that was as comfortable as the vial contacts I've worn, even when going with the regular non-toric types. The fit in a colored contact is particularly important, as it's obvious to everyone when you blink and the contact slips up and down between the lids, giving the double lidded snake appearance.

It's upsetting to me that the companies are discontinuing their colored contact lines without investing the techniques learned into the replacements we're left with, and I don't understand it. I can understand perhaps the push to disposable over vial, and also that not everyone wants colored contacts. Unfortunately, the poor quality of the Freshlooks Colors in any line will only deaden any further interest in them.

I've worn disposables in clear, and even though I throw them out much sooner than the box says, I suppose that they're not horribly uncomfortable. However, one reason I throw them out earlier is that they're not the customized fit that I was able to find in the vial contacts, and the gumminess of any wear just made the overall experience even worse. when my admittedly vain desire to change color is combined, the Freshlook brands do NOT provide anything at all to meet my expectations.

Great lenses... best part is that you can see if they are in your eye easily... the colors are great.... wish they made more wild colors... maybe in the future.

These are an affordable option for those looking for a little colour with their toric contact. I wear them daily for long hours (12-16 hours at a time) and they stay moist. I find that they stay moist and irritate my eyes much less than the Focus brand equivalent.

In terms of the colour, they are not as vibrant a change as some of the other Freshlook options like colourblends. I have light eyes and they act as more of an enhancer. I'm not sure if they would do much for those with dark eyes. If I could make one recommendation to the company, it would be to increase the colour options for the colour toric lenses. Other than that, great choice for anyone with astigmatism.

I like the color blend contact lens. Contact are easier me because I'm good with glasses. I lose and sometime break them,so contacts are for me. My natural eye color is brown and I have long natural eyelashes and even as child I would get compliments on my eyes because their large and pretty! LOL!!! So with the color-blends I'm always ask are those your eyes...and I say yes...even though I know their asking is that the real color of my eyes!! I love it because I change the color of them!!! Ilove the product and the great service;but most of all the price is EXCELLENT!!! I haven't found any other company that I will trust with my eyes for the inexpensive price!!!

I have worn Freshlook Colorblends for years, and have been happy with the colors and comfort. I recently have had to switch to Toric, but just for one eye with astigmatism. I have worn the Pure Hazel before and liked so tried the Honey, but do not like them. They are very orange in color and also be aware that there is slight visual differences (color and size) between the Toric and standard Colorblend contacts.
