I have 1 yr experience with contact lenses. I first got the Coopervision Biofinity Toric, Single Vision lenses and they were grat but I did need reading glasses.

I have an excellent eye doctor, who definitely has my very best interest at heart , I really wanted to try the ProClear Multi-focal Toric Lenses and so we ordered a trial. I really wanted these to work for me and adjustment was not instantaneous.

I was very patient and I contacted Coopervision and had 3 appointments with my eye doctor.

For me, the Proclear Multi-focal Toric lenses are so easy to put in and remove. It is a snap/breeze. I always remove mine by kind of pushing them to the side and down. I do not pinch or bend lenses when I remove them. No issues with tearing.

Obviously the Proclear are thinner, actually they are more aqueous than the Biofinity (chemist with experience in production of medical devices such as contact lenses, not with Coopervision)both products are excellent.

With the Proclear I finally figured out I really needed to use the Clear care in order to remove the protein deposits. This is most likely due to the fact I suffer from some degree of dry eye.

I wore these a few hours a day for 2 weeks and then finally my vision stabalized. They do require frequent cleaning. I expect that with a medical device that is inserted into the eye.

The left and right lenses are inverses of each othe. For me, the right eye has nearness at the center sphere and distance at the outer sphere. This is opposite in the left side. The lenses work together to give full optimized vision and this does take some adjustment time.

So I did my research and was patient and the Proclear Multifocal Torics have worked out very well for me.

Was very happy to be able to order them here as it saved me $400.00 for my one year supply. The eye doctor quoted me $806.00 for a year supply and with my first order here with 25% discount I paid $451.96/shipped and I had my lenses in 2 weeks after they verified my prescription and processed the order. My insurance rebates me $105.00 so my total cost was only $346.96.

Poor quality for the price of the lenses. They are great for my vision. I've never seen clearer but the left lense has often ripped while in my eye while working. I've worn contacts since the 80's and was the first experience with contacts ripping while blinking. Lense get dry easily...constantly using Blink solution to keep them moist.

Comments about Proclear Multifocal Toric Custom Lens, 6 lenses per box:

I thought it was just me, but I have had nothing but trouble with these lenses. Flipping over while in my eye, difficulty putting them in because they are so thin. I have had them tear in half while in my eye. I realize there are some compromises you have to make to wear multi focus toric lenses. Not great night time vision being one. But like many other reviewers they are way to expensive to only get a few days wear our of a lens.

I am employed as an accountant so my eyes tire easily using the computer all day. Multifocal makes it easier to go from paper (looking down) to the computer (looing up).

Comments about Proclear Multifocal Toric Custom Lens, 6 lenses per box:

For those of us who want bifocal and need correction for astigmatism, these are the only brand to purchase (according to my Ophthalmologist). They are expensive and tear easily. They don't last the 30 days. Often they rip within two days. I feel lucky if I get two weeks out of a lense. They are comfortable. They thin out the longer you wear them which makes them more susceptible to tearing.

Blur with night vision is another issue.

Comments about Proclear Multifocal Toric Custom Lens, 6 lenses per box:

I have worn contacts for over 40 years. The lens material for astigmatism is much too delicate than other lens brands. I have an astigmatism in both eyes & the multi focal toric for astigmatism gives me clearer vision. However, the lens does not last nearly a month. A box of 6 may last you only a month- not close to 6 months as intended. A box is too expensive to buy monthly much less two boxes - one for each eye. I will probably ask my doctor for another recommendation unless the material used to make the lens for astigmatism is a little more durable.

Comments about Proclear Multifocal Toric Custom Lens, 6 lenses per box:

I agree with other commentators that these lenses rip and tear easily. There is no way you can wear them a month! I'm lucky if I get 2 weeks out of them. You definitely can't rub them to clean them, which probably affects their clarity. My eye doctor offers free replacement lenses for ones that have ripped, and I have already replaced 4 lenses in 5 months (and that's only because they allow only 2 at a time). In actuality I probably have at least 6 more that have gotten cracks, little holes, or completely torn in half. I am seriously re-considering hard lenses, even though I haven't worn them for about 15 years because I am so annoyed with these. As noted by others, they are incredibly thin and I don't recall other lenses being like saran wrap unless they were daily disposables.
